Until now I've only seen such a green label on some FG150's, FG300's and some FG180's. These green labels can be found on the very early FG's. vintage yamaha fg-75 nippon gakki red label acoustic guitar- comes with a non original chipboard case- the guitar is in good condition- has a stain on front body& some fading- has a few small surface cracks in back- there is a spray paint mark on back of neck- there is surface scratches on front& back& on neck- the strings are a little high.

The Red label is identical to the green label, except for the color and the small piano changed to the familiar 3 tuning fork symbol. The earliest Red Label serial number & date code set I’ve found is an FG-150 with 599XXX & 41.12.2. It looks like there was a month or 2 overlap with the Green label. The latest Red Label 7 digit serial number.

Well, the FG75 and FG75-1 are vintage Yamaha guitars. They're actually very nice guitars (if set-up properly) with very nice tone and very playable. Sure, they only sold for about $100 new way back in the late 60's early 70's, but a red label guitar in excellent condition will fetch you about $250 to $300 today. Hardly beaters IMHO.
